Borrowed from music culture, the term “jam” is used by Contact Improvisation (CI) communities around the world to name this open, non-verbal space dedicated to movement as a physical conversation. While solos and group dances emerge, most often we meet in duets, exploring weight, balance, reflex, impulse, and momentum.
